Dear international students,

On the arrival of 2021, we all teachers of International Education College extend new year's greetings and best wishes to all of you!

Looking back on 2020, The sudden attack of coronavirus changed our life. Under such severe situation, more than 60 of 400 international students chose to stay in China, while more students returned to their countries. After the outbreak of coronavirus, our college carried out a series of work for epidemic prevention and control including the formulation of policy, daily material supply, online teaching plan, physical exercise for students in campus, which ensured us to pass through the most difficult period.

Although you are living in different places all over the world, you are still thinking about China. During the epidemic period, 13 overseas students spontaneously organized donations for Chinese patients infected with coronavirus, moreover, many international students contribute painting, prose, poetry works to the competition of “fighting against the epidemic” organized by the Department of Education. With practical actions, you not only interprets international humanitarian spirit of great love, but also highlights the noble character as a medical student.

Dear everyone, in 2020, we were not frightened by the terrible epidemic, we were not knocked down by great difficulties. Contrarily, we overcame all difficulties with unity and courage. In this year, we learnt the value of life and had a deeper understanding of the community with a shared future for mankind. May we continue to move forward with love and hope and to welcome the beautiful and peaceful year of 2021!
