亲爱的境外留学生同学们：

Dear international students who are living abroad,

    你们好！

    近段时间来，新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情在中国和世界范围内不断蔓延，严重危及到人类的健康与安全。中国政府高度重视疫情防控工作，已采取一系列强有力的措施来有效控制病毒肆虐。

    Recently, the respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is raging in China and around the globe. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the prevention and control of the epidemic and has taken a series of strong measures to control the spread of the virus effectively.

    同学们回到各自国家后，也要务必高度重视疫情防控，密切关注本国疫情发展形势。同学们应始终与你们的班主任保持密切联系，及时向班主任汇报自己目前的身体状况、生活状态以及所居住地区的疫情形势和防控情况等。

    Please attach great importance to the prevention and control of the epidemic, and pay close attention to the situation of the epidemic in your own country. You should keep in close contact with the head teacher and report the current physical condition, living condition as well as the situation of epidemic in your own country.

    疫情爆发以来，同学们积极支持和配合学校的各项防控工作，遵守相关规定和要求，没有出现提前返校等行为。特别值得一提的是，还有很多同学心系患者、积极捐款，或者创作诗歌、散文、绘画等作品，助力中国打赢疫情防控阻击战。在此，学院对所有境外留学生同学们做出的贡献表示衷心的感谢！

    Since the outbreak, the prevention and control of the epidemic at Hebei Medical University has gained support and cooperation from all international students. Everyone abides by the epidemic prevention regulations and requirements, behaviors like returning to school in advance never happened. Many students even helped the university and students around, making their own contribution to control the epidemic such as donating, writing poems, essays, paintings and so on. We would express sincere thanks to all international students!

    为进一步做好疫情防控工作，特向同学们传达中国教育部、河北省教育厅和学校的相关通知要求，请务必严格遵守：

    In order to strenthen the prevention and control of the epidemic, we hereby convey to you the relevant notice or requirements from the Ministry of Education of China, the Education Department of Hebei province as well as our university. Please be sure to follow strictly:

    1. 境外所有留学生在未接到正式开学通知前一律不得返回中国，务必严格执行“不通知不返回”的纪律要求。对于违反规定、不听劝阻擅自返回中国的留学生，学院将依据校规校纪予以严肃处理。

    No students is allowed to return to the university in advance. Please wait for the College Notice on the start of the Spring Semester. Those who insist on returning to school will be punished seriously according to the Chinese laws and regulations of Hebei Medical University.

    2. 若同学们所居住的国家或地区出现新冠肺炎疫情，请务必做好个人防护工作，居家隔离并加强体温监测，每天需向班主任汇报身体状况和体温测量情况。如需外出，务必注意佩戴口罩，尽量不去人群密集存在感染风险的地方。

    If there is new outbreak of the novel coronavirus in your country, please do your best to protect yourself. Keep measuring body temperature, report to the head teachere if there is any special situation, wearing mask when you go out, do not go to crowded places where are susceptible to the disease.

    3. 同学们在境外期间，如出现任何问题，请第一时间与你们的班主任取得联系，进行咨询，一定不要采取擅自返回中国进行处理的方式，包括办理居留许可延期手续等一切事宜。

    If there is any problem during your stay abroad, please contact your head teacher at the first time for consultation. Please do not return to China without permission, including visa issues and other matters.

    4. 按照学校“停课不停教、停课不停学”的工作部署，学院目前已开展线上授课的教学方式，组建了不同年级、不同科目约35个微信学习群，请同学们调整好自己的作息时间，务必坚持每天在线学习不掉队、不松懈。在学习方面遇到任何问题或困难，请及时与你们的班主任进行反馈和沟通。

    According to the working plan of our university, our college has carried out the online teaching method, and set up about 35 WeChat study groups in different batches and different subjects. You are requested to adjust your schedules, and be sure not to fall behind or be absent in online learning every day. If you encounter any problems or difficulties in your study, please give feedback and communicate with your head teacher in time.

    5. 学院为全体留学生同学们提供关于疫情防控在线心理咨询服务，设有专门咨询邮箱380863346@qq.com，有需求的同学们可随时发送自己想了解或咨询的问题到指定邮箱，并留下手机号码，将有专业心理教师予以解答并提供帮助。

    The college provides online psychological counseling service on epidemic prevention and control for all international students, with a special email address of 380863346@qq.com. Students in need can send your questions to the above email address at any time with your mobile phone numbers. There will be professional psychological teachers to answer and provide help.
